Questionaire!

We're asking all visitor's to this site to go through their closets and pick out their 5 favorite pieces of clothing.

1. Leave a comment or email me at (jlgarst@indiana.edu) with answers to the following three questions:

a. The country/state or city do you live in?
b. Where each piece of clothing was made?
c. What each piece of clothing is made out of?

2. If you want pictures of your self in the clothing or of the clothing would be fun to put up on the blog. Or if you have any stories you would like to share about the clothing or yourself, that would be fun to.

SWAP-ERATION

CLOTHING SWAP AND ALTERNATION/MENDING WORKSHOP

In a two part project, jay and I will be hosting a SWAP-ERATION.

Part one of the project is data collection on http://fiberawareness.blogspot.com/

Part two is where we bring it around town/full circle, and encourage everyone to waste and purchase less. The clothing swap is an opportunity for ya'll to bring clothes you'd like to trade, bring clothes you need help mending or altering.

Bring your own booze, we'll have snacks, bring a favorite record or cd, bring any thread or needles you have.

Jay and I will be working on a crazy costume out of the unwanted clothes, so feel free to help out with that!
